The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) has today issued its proposed regulations on employers providing opioid antagonists in their workplaces.  You can read the regulations at pages 9-12 of the New York State Register here: NYSDOL Employer Opioid Antagonists Required on Premises.  Remember that these regulations apply to all dental offices and even to NYSDA because such offices are classified by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as general industry offices that are required to have first aid kits available for employees (even though such first aid kits are currently minimal in some office settings).  Comments on the proposed regulations are due by November 22, 2026.
