This day is all about care, connection, and community…but it can’t happen without our volunteers. If you’d like to be part of something truly special, we invite you to fill out the Volunteer Registration Form and join us.

GKAS NYCDS is proud to partner with generous sponsors who help make our largest community outreach event possible. Sponsors receive recognition at the event, on social media, in our dental newsletter and more.

From dentists and dental students to assistants and community members, every volunteer plays a vital role. Your gift, big or small, powers our care for East Harlem’s children. Please donate today through our GoFundMe campaign.

Give Kids A Smile NYCDS 2025 Recap!

On Friday, February 7, 2025, the New York County Dental Society hosted its annual Give Kids A Smile NYCDS event, a tradition since 2014. Held in East Harlem, the event aims to raise awareness of the importance of good oral health within the community, instill good oral hygiene habits and detect children in need of follow-up care and connect them to a dental home.   Over 200 volunteers participated in the event which offered clinical exams, preventive fluoride treatment and oral health/nutrition education to more than 1,000 children from 10 local schools.
