Pursuant to New York State Workers' Compensation Law §151, the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (Board) shall annually establish an assessment rate for all employers by November 1 of each year, to be effective January 1 of the subsequent calendar year.  For calendar year 2027, the rate shall be 7% of the standard premium or premium equivalent.  Please contact the Board by e-mail at: WCBFinanceOffice@wcb.ny.gov with any questions on the assessment rate.
