There’s Still Time to Submit USCDI Feedback

The USCDI feedback period closes next week on Monday, September 28 at 11:59 PM ET. Following the release of USCDI v7, ONC continues to accept recommendations for new data elements for consideration in future versions of USCDI. Advancing Interoperable Quality Data for Digital Measurement

ONC released the final USCDI+ Quality v2 and the updated USCDI+ Quality Overarching data element list. The final USCDI+ Quality v2 strengthens alignment with USCDI, US Quality Core, CMS eCQMs, and FHIR-based quality reporting. The updated Quality Overarching list continues to track broader quality-relevant data elements for future consideration.

Introducing Cartos

Cartos is ONC’s public, FHIR-enabled terminology service designed to help implementers find, understand, and use terminology tied to ONC regulations and the Standards Version Advancement Process. By bringing regulatory context, implementation guide references, metadata, and terminology content together in one place, Cartos makes it easier to identify and use current terminology assets. The accompanying Standards Bulletin 26-3 (SB26-3) provides an overview of Cartos, how to access it, and more.
