The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has issued proposed regulations to simplify Medicaid recordkeeping requirements and encourage use of electronic forms.  The NYSDOH proposed regulations can be found at pages 12-15 in the New York State Register document attached here: New York State Register June 17, 2026.  They are a result of the Governor’s EXPRESS NY initiative to reduce unnecessary and obsolete regulations.  Comments on the proposed resolutions can be filed until August 16, 2026 (60 days).
