The New York State Dental Association (NYSDA) has joined a coalition of other groups in support of Governor Hochul's State Budget proposal to tax alternative nicotine products such as Zyn pouches like regular tobacco products and also to tax nicotine vapor products.  NYSDA is also supporting other anti-vaping proposals introduced as separate legislation.  You can read the NYSDA and coalition letter of support for these measures here: Joint Memo in Support Vapor Products Tax Proposal.
