Per the notice below, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued data on the number of enrollees in the New York State of Health (NYSOH), the health benefits exchange for New York, that had no health care claims.
Data Available: 2019-2024 Enrollees Without Claims by State Market Metal Level
To facilitate maximum transparency and support for plan year 2026 rating, CMS is providing 2019-2024 benefit year state market level data regarding the proportion of enrollees without medical or pharmacy claims sourced from the respective EDGE benefit year data. This file, entitled 2019-2024 Enrollees Without Claims by State Market Metal Levels, is available at https://www.cms.gov/files/document/enrolleeswithoutclaims-2019-24.xlsx. Data for the New York State of Health (NYSOH), the health benefits exchange for New York, can be read here: NYSOH Enrollment Data. The 2019-2024 Enrollees Without Claims by State Market Metal Levels provides counts and percents of enrollees without claims in each metal level and 94% CSR variant (individual only) by state market. Data is suppressed for states with fewer than three issuers in state market metal level categories. More information on the data is provided within the file.
