Jun 10, 2025

Per the notice below, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is holding a free Webinar on using digital health care tools to engage patients.

AHRQ National Webinar

Empowering Patients to Change Behavior Using Digital
Healthcare Tools

Register for the webinar on July 17, 2025, at 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. ET

Empowering patients to take an active role in their health is key to driving meaningful and sustainable behavior change.  By using tools like clinical decision support (CDS) systems, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platforms, and mobile health apps, healthcare providers can engage patients in managing chronic conditions and making informed decisions about their health.  Join AHRQ’s expert panel to gain valuable insights on the critical role digital healthcare technologies play in driving healthier lifestyles and improving patient outcomes.  At the conclusion of the event, participants should be able to:
  • Discuss how an interactive, family-centered digital health promotion tool can address childhood obesity.
  • Describe how an AI-supported tool that collects patient-reported outcomes can support positive behavior change for patients with diabetes.
  • Explain how using a standards-based CDS tool for blood pressure management has the potential to improve outcomes by empowering and engaging patients.
This event is part of the Digital Healthcare Research (DHR) Program national Webinar series.  Our Webinars showcase the latest scientific advancements and key conversations with experts around impactful research in the evolving digital healthcare ecosystem.  Access our National Webinar page for on-demand webinar recordings and upcoming events.
