Participants will review TMJ anatomy, pain mechanisms, and clinical decision-making for the management of TMD and associated orofacial pain. Through mannequin-based simulation, participants will gain practical experience with trigger point, botulinum toxin (Botox), and intra-articular injection techniques. Instruction will emphasize anatomical landmarks, patient selection, dosing, injection technique, safety, complication avoidance, and informed consent. No live patient injections will be performed. The course will also address the integration of injection therapies with conservative treatments, including occlusal splints, physical therapy, and pharmacologic management, as well as referral considerations for complex cases. The primum non nocere principle will guide safe, ethical, and effective patient care.
