Welcome to the New York County Dental Society

Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest dental organizations in the United States. With nearly 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. It is an invaluable advocacy and education resource that protects its members and the public.

Member Experience

"Time and time again NYCDS has always been able to find answers to my difficult questions. I am grateful for such a reliable and trusted source of information and professional expertise."
Lisa S. Lin, DDS

"I've been taking CE courses for over 20 years, and I've had the best experience thus far with the NY County Dental Society. It has been really easy to register for the courses and I've always been greeted by a warm and friendly staff! The knowledgeable instructors have made learning enjoyable, especially with some of the mandatory courses."
Michael Kosdon, DDS

Make a Difference—Become a GKAS NYCDS Sponsor

Oct 22, 2026
On February 5, 2027, GKAS NYCDS returns—and we invite you to be part of the impact.

Give Kids A Smile NYCDS (GKAS) is our largest community event of the year, bringing dental professionals together to provide underserved children in East Harlem with dental screenings, preventive fluoride treatments, oral health education, and connections to ongoing dental care when needed. We also collect important data for the NYCD Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Our sponsors make this day possible, helping us bring essential dental resources to children while building a healthier community. Becoming a GKAS sponsor also offers exceptional benefits for your brand. You will gain meaningful visibility through signage, volunteer t-shirts, event promotions, and social media recognition. Depending on your sponsorship level, you will also be featured across our email campaigns and receive shoutouts before, during, and after the event. Most importantly, your name will be connected to a cause that truly changes lives.

Partner with us to empower healthier smiles, strengthen our community, and make a difference that lasts beyond one day.
