Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest groups of dentists in the United States. With more than 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. OSHA-Mandated Update for Dentists & Staff on 6/25! (ZOOM)

This live webinar course provides essential updates on OSHA guidelines, including recent changes related to PPE, COVID-19, and sepsis management for dental offices. It covers the new legal requirements for dentists and hygienists and includes crucial infection control updates to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, specifically OSHA 29CFR Part 1910.1030.

The course is designed to meet the annual OSHA training requirements for all dental office staff, ensuring they stay current with infection control procedures. If the practice owner enrolls their staff, they will receive a training completion document, eliminating the need to conduct the training themselves.

Please note, this course is not a "return to work" COVID-19 course and is separate from the NYS Mandatory Infection Control Re-Licensure requirement. All participants must attend live, with video on, and sign the attestation document at the end. This training is vital for compliance and helps ensure your office meets all legal and safety requirements.
