Lecture Description:

This course is for all Dentists to learn or review their knowledge of periodontal procedures to enhance their cosmetic outcomes. It is a practical interactive lecture to answer your particular questions on anatomy and health and cosmetic gingival treatments. Hopefully this will inspire you to understand what can be achieved for your patients and how to handle explaining treatment and explaining when things do not go as planned.

Speaker Information: Dr. James E Jacobs 

Dr. Jacobs established his first private practice in Philadelphia after receiving his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. As a periodontist, he has special interests in dental implants, gum disease, its systemic relationship to the body, and esthetic periodontal treatments as well as laser therapy.  He has lectured all over the country and Europe for 30 years on the topic of Cosmetic Periodontal Dentistry and its relationship to Restorative Care. For the last 16 years, Dr. Jacobs has become passionately involved in Organized Dentistry.  He has served on the New York City Board of Dentistry for three years before being elected to serve on the Executive Committee leading to President of the New York County Dental Society since 2018.
