Course Description:

This course will discuss the journey of full arch immediate load workflow from analog to digital and combining both treatment planning modalities to predictable treatment outcomes. Dr. Pacinelli and Dr. Jurman will discuss surgical and restorative considerations as well as how to discuss treatment options with patients. They will review various types of cases and how to determine which patients are ideal for full arch treatment and which are not. Other topics that will be discussed are the different parts and pieces needed to execute the implant surgery as well as the conversion of the temporary prosthesis. They will also go over various types of definitive restorations that you can choose from. Lastly, they will discuss with you the preoperative and postoperative instructions along with the financial breakdown of the procedure. Several cases will be presented at the end of the lecture to review take-home points.

Speaker Information: Dr. David Jurman 

Dr. Jurman grew up in Dix Hills and attended the Half Hollow Hills School District. After graduation, he attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Biology. He then attended The State University of New York at Stony Brook Dental School and Mount Sinai, School of Medicine, for his dental and medical degrees. Dr. Jurman has years of experience treating patients with facial fractures, jaw problems, and dental implant surgery. He's been practicing in Plainview, Massapequa and Levittown since 2006. His many surgical skills include repairing facial fractures, corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Jurman has a keen interest in dental rehabilitation with full mouth dental implants with immediate load. He has given many lectures in the field of full arch rehabilitation and holds live surgery courses to teach other practitioners. Dr. Jurman is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he is a member of numerous dental associations and is on staff at several local hospitals including Northwell Health/Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Plainview Hospital.

When you meet Dr. Jurman, you'll probably notice that he's easy to talk to and explains things well, that's because not only is he a skilled surgeon, he is a certified CPR instructor, giving courses to dentists and their office staff. Dr. Jurman has three children and likes to spend his free time coaching their youth lacrosse and basketball. He played Division 1 lacrosse at Pennsylvania State University for four years and is active in the alumni association.

Dr. Andrew Pacinelli 

Dr. Andrew Pacinelli is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Temple University School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Following dental school, Dr. Pacinelli completed a General Practice Residency at the Northport V.A. Medical center in Northport, NY. He continued his education and received certification of Advanced Education in Prosthetic Dentistry at New York Hospital, Queens, N.Y. He is a graduate of Bucknell University, with a bachelor's degree in biology. Dr. Pacinelli was a four-year letter winner on the men's varsity lacrosse team.

Dr. Pacinelli has been nationally recognized for his research on aesthetic dental materials. He has lectured nationally on the topics of dental implant restoration design and fabrication, dental aesthetics and dental materials. He is a member of American Dental Association and American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Pacinelli served for 12 years as a clinical associate professor in the department of Prosthodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
