Use these tips when you request an opinion letter from WHD to clarify how existing regulations or guidance apply to your workplace situation.

1.  Reference specific laws or other relevant guidance.
2.  Describe your job, work schedules, and pay structure.
3.  Confirm your request isn’t related to an existing matter that requires interpretation of federal law.
4.  Include your phone number.
5.  Do not include sensitive personal information.
