Zoom OSHA-Mandated Update for Dentists and Staff on 5/13

This live webinar provides the mandated OSHA guideline updates required each year, including the most recent changes related to PPE, COVID-19, and sepsis management for dental offices.

This course reviews the new legal requirements for dentists and hygienists and includes crucial infection control updates to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, specifically OSHA 29CFR Part 1910.1030.

OSHA made a major update to the MSDS/SDS (material safety data sheets/safety data sheets) labeling requirements and employee training that required mandatory office compliance after June 1, 2016, including additional documentation requirements. These topics will be discussed along with other updates: masks, gloves, PPE, and more.

The course is designed to meet the annual OSHA training requirements for all dental office staff, ensuring they stay current with infection control procedures. If the practice owner enrolls their staff, they will receive a training completion document, eliminating the need to conduct the training themselves. Staff attendance through NYCDS continuing education is strongly encouraged as it provides the most efficient and economical way to maintain compliance.
