Welcome to the New York County Dental Society

Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest groups of dentists in the United States. With more than 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. In-Person Orthodontic Course: Implant Interactions with Dr. Frank Celenza

In this course, attendees will learn how dental implants can play a more active and transformative role in orthodontic treatment.

While implant dentistry has long influenced restorative care, its impact on orthodontics is only now beginning to fully emerge. This course highlights the growing integration of implants in orthodontic practice and demonstrates their unique ability to facilitate efficient and controlled tooth movement.


Attendees will explore the development and application of implants as orthodontic tools, including both direct and indirect anchorage techniques. Through clinical examples, participants will learn how implants can improve treatment efficiency, streamline mechanotherapy, reduce reliance on patient compliance, and expand overall treatment possibilities.
