Our Award-Winning GKAS Event is Back — Volunteer Now to Make a Difference!

We’re beyond excited to share that Give Kids a Smile NYCDS is returning on February 6, 2026 — and we need passionate volunteers just like you to help make it an unforgettable day!
This is our biggest event of the year, and we’re excited to expand by including two additional schools at a brand-new site. Our goal is to bring smiles to more than 1,400 underserved elementary school children from eleven East Harlem schools. Each child will receive an essential dental screening, preventative fluoride treatment, and oral hygiene education in a fun-filled atmosphere. Children in need of follow-up care are connected to resources for treatment. Meeting caring dentists and dental volunteers helps children form positive associations with dental care, especially those who have never or only rarely visited a dentist.
Volunteers are truly the heart of this event, and your energy can help brighten even more futures. Join us for a meaningful day that’s about so much more than teeth — it’s about making a lasting impact in the community.
