In-Person Workshop: Minimally Invasive Posterior Restorations with Dr. Amelia Orta on 10/10

This course will present the latest advancements and how they can be implemented daily in clinical practice.

Minimally invasive preparations for posterior restorations will be reviewed, demonstrated and practiced with a focus on preparation design, materials selection and cementation. The clinical techniques known as IDS (Immediate Dentin Sealing) & Resin Coating will also be discussed, demonstrated, then practiced as well. The latest advancements in ceramic bonding will also be reviewed and a warm composite cementation technique will be utilized which can provide extremely high bonds for posterior restorations that mimic the strength of the DEJ (dentinoenamel junction).
