We are offering a range of mandated courses designed to keep you compliant with essential requirements. Our offerings include CPR, HIPAA (Zoom), Infection Control, and OSHA (Zoom) compliance. These courses provide critical updates and ensure that you remain up-to-date on important information. Stay compliant and register today.

Basic Life Support/CPR Certification Course (In-Person)

Attendees of this course will become certified and updated on all the most current American Heart Association guidelines in CPR and Basic Life Support. Current guidelines on choking and proper systematic approaches to cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest are discussed. This course includes hands-on practice sessions.

The Good, the Bad & Compliance: Ignorance of HIPAA Can Mean Massive Penalties with Dr. Lorne Lavine (Zoom)

In this course, attendees will learn how to navigate recent changes to HIPAA rules, which have clarified the potential fines and penalties for noncompliance, with amounts reaching up to $1.5 million. With many practices that have reported breaches losing upwards of 25% of their patients immediately, understanding compliance is more critical than ever. Dr. Lavine will walk participants through a step-by-step game plan, detailing the essential policies and procedures that practices must implement to move toward full HIPAA compliance.

Infection Control for the Dental Practice with Dr. Peter Mychajliw (In-Person)

This course will help attain a safe working environment for all dental health care workers, patients and staff. You will be able to establish protocols within your office to prevent the spread of infectious disease. An overview of the goals and objectives of infection prevention will be established and demonstrate how to comply and maintain such a working environment.

OSHA-Mandated Update for Dentists and Staff; What You Need to Know to Comply with the Law with Dr. Peter Mychajliw (ZOOM)

This course includes new information including additional requirements recently signed into law regarding dentist and sepsis management. This course specifically includes OSHA update for PPE COVID-19 recommendations. It is not intended to be a COVID-19 “return to work” course. This requirement is separate from the NYS Mandatory Infection Control Re-Licensure requirement of every four years for dentists and hygienists.
