Welcome to the New York County Dental Society

Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest groups of dentists in the United States. With more than 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. It is an invaluable advocacy and education resource that protects its members and the public.

Start the new year by making a difference! NYCDS is excited to host its Award-Winning Give Kids a Smile event on Friday, February 7, 2025, and we need passionate dentists like you to make it a success!

Start the new year by making a difference! NYCDS is excited to host its Award-Winning Give Kids a Smile event on Friday, February 7, 2025, and we need passionate dentists like you to make it a success!

This half-day event is our largest of the year, impacting over 1,600 underserved children from 10 East Harlem elementary schools across seven locations. Volunteer to help us provide essential dental screenings, fluoride treatment, oral hygiene education, and collect critical data for the NYC Department of Health.

Join your colleagues in this rewarding effort to improve oral health and create positive dental experiences for kids in need. If you’re bringing team members, don’t forget to have each person sign up individually.
