Welcome to the New York County Dental Society

Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest groups of dentists in the United States. With more than 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. It is an invaluable advocacy and education resource that protects its members and the public.

New Event! May 1 Health & Wellness Fair at NYCDS

NYCDS Members and their staff are invited to attend our upcoming Health & Wellness Fair on May 1.
We get it – you are busy but you still want to eat well and be healthy for the long hall. But after a long day chairside, your healthy-eating plans can get derailed. You can end up eating a bowl of Cheerios for dinner or ordering pricey (and not-so-healthy) takeout from GrubHub instead of making a balanced meal! The Society's New Dentist Wellness Subcommittee is here to help you win the dinner-plate battle!

The fair features several food vendors offering some sample bites,
followed by a panel discussion with three experienced nutrition and health-focused professionals sharing their unique perspectives on healthy eating.
