What is the ACD Mentoring Lecture Program:

The ACD Mentoring Lecture Program is structured so that it benefits everyone involved, creating a direct relationship between student and mentor. Experienced dentists have the opportunity to step up as mentors and students learn about the culture of leadership, ethics, and professionalism by example. The program has gained local recognition with all New York metropolitan area hospitals participating, helping to satisfy their ADA CODA requirements for ethics and practice management.

Lecture Description:

In this fast-paced, practical webinar, I’ll show you proven techniques to enhance everyday procedures like crowns, onlays, implants, and direct restorations. You’ll see how a smart, streamlined approach can actually improve clinical results, boost profitability, and make dentistry more enjoyable, all at the same time.
The goal is to simplify:
  • Identify the key factors that bring true clinical efficiency, beyond just speed and cost-cutting.
  • Reduce complications and re-treatments. Learn why some of your crowns and onlays just “drop right in” while others aren’t even close. (Hint, it isn’t always the lab’s fault)
  • Develop a more enjoyable and confident approach for all your restorative procedures.
  • Identify the factors you should be using to select instruments and materials for your restorations

Speaker: Dr. Mitchell Rubenstein 

Dr. Mitchell Rubinstein chairs the Technology Committee for the New York State Dental Association. He is a co-author of N.Y. State's official HIPAA compliance course and serves on the American Dental Association’s Standards Committee on Informatics. Dr. Rubinstein served as the Education Director for the New York County Dental Society from 2018-2023. He practices in New York City.
