Lecture Description:

This presentation will highlight the most sure-fire ways to increase treatment acceptance of restorative and periodontal treatment in any dental practice. Many practices fail to create clarity or uniformity in their diagnostic criteria. This creates variance in how each clinician in the practice views restorative and periodontal care opportunities, and it results in under diagnosis and patient confusion. To present treatment, it must first be diagnosed. The creation of uniform criteria exposes many more opportunities to recommend treatment. Artificial Intelligence can now also assist and improve this dynamic. When combined with improved treatment presentation skills and patient-centric, benefit-oriented verbal skills, treatment acceptance markedly increases. Practices grow, and “raving fan” patients refer their family, friends and neighbors. This presentation draws on the experience that Dr Katz has had in being a comprehensive care practitioner for 35 years and coaching clinicians for 20 years. It points out the fact that practice growth is less dependent on “Practice Management” and much more dependent on increased and improved clinical performance…rendering care, and ensuring that patients leave your practice in a better condition than when they arrived.
