HHS OIG Issues Congressional Testimony on Medicare Advantage Health Care Denials and Delays

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued Congressional testimony on health care denials and delays in the Medicare Advantage program.  HHS OIG notes that Medicare Advantage beneficiaries were denied access to needed services that likely would have been approved if the beneficiary had been enrolled in original Medicare and that these denials likely prevented or delayed needed care for beneficiaries.  To read the HHS OIG Congressional testimony on health care denials and delays in the Medicare Advantage program, use the link below.
