EARN is Committed to Helping Employers Retain Disabled Employees

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a large disruption in the workforce with employers having to compete for a limited number of workers.  Now, employers must explore and implement proven strategies that prioritize retaining skilled workers, including employees with disabilities, by creating inclusive workplace policies and cultures, providing accommodations, and offering performance feedback and mentoring opportunities.  Throughout January, the USDOL Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) is committed to sharing best practices and approaches designed to help employers retain their disabled employees.  Follow EARN on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for resources and information about fostering an inclusive workplace that encourages employees with disabilities to want to stay at their jobs.
