Providing Reasonable Accommodations to Veterans with Disabilities Webcast
In observance of Veterans Day, the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) will offer a timely and informative Webcast about veterans with cognitive and mental health impairments and common accommodations that may be needed for success at work. New Blog: Advancing Disability Inclusion All Year Round
On October 28, Renee Tajudeen, Supervisory Program Manager of the USDOL Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) Policy Communication and Outreach Division authored a blog titled, “Advancing Disability Inclusion All Year Round.” The blog, which was posted as National Disability Employment Awareness Month concludes, draws attention to the advantages of employing workers with disabilities, provides ideas on how to foster a disability-friendly workplace, and encourages employers to make advancing disability inclusion a year-round commitment.
