White House Releases Blueprint for a "Bill of Rights" on AI
The Biden-Harris Administration’s Office of Science and Technology Policy recently released a Blueprint for a “Bill of Rights” to help guide the design, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) and other automated systems so that they protect the rights of the American public. Among other priorities, the Blueprint highlights federal efforts to protect workers with disabilities. This includes the USDOL-led Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology, which has created the AI & Disability Inclusion Toolkit and the Equitable AI Playbook.
White House Summit on Indoor Air Quality
On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. ET, a White House Summit on Indoor Air Quality will take place, and members of the public are invited to join via livestream. This summit will focus on improving indoor air quality as a means to preventing infectious diseases and share best practices from leaders on this issue in the public and private sectors.
