NIH Issues Research Findings on COVID-19 Rebound

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has issued research findings showing that novel coronavirus (COVID-19) rebound is not linked to any impaired immune response from COVID-19.  NIH notes that the findings suggest that COVID-19 rebound symptoms could be partially driven by the robust cellular immune response to residual viral RNA throughout the respiratory tract, rather than an impaired immune response allowing viral replication.  To read the NIH announcement and summary of its research findings showing that COVID-19 rebound is not linked to any impaired immune response from COVID-19, use the link below.
