Governor Hochul Launches Plan to Improve Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Cultural and Linguistic Competence in OPWDD Services

Governor Hochul has launched a $10 million partnership with Georgetown University to improve diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural and linguistic competence in the operations and services of the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).  Governor Hochul notes that the partnership will be a three-year plan to include plan development, community engagement, plan implementation, and measurements of progress.  To read Governor Hochul's announcement and summary of the $10 million partnership with Georgetown University for improving OPWDD services, use the link below.
