NIH Issues Research Findings on T Cells Protecting Against COVID-19

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has issued research findings showing that T cells protect against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) even in the absence of an antibody response.  NIH notes that vaccines designed to produce a strong T cell response may be able to help protect against current and future variants of the virus that causes COVID-19.  To read the NIH announcement and summary of its research findings on T cells protecting against COVID-19, use the link below.
