NYSDOH Issues Alert on Statewide Rise in COVID-19 Cases

The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has issued an alert on a significant statewide rise in novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.  NYSDOH notes that short-term side effects of COVID-19 may include flu-like symptoms, fatigue, trouble breathing, fever or chills, muscle and body aches, and more -- and that severe symptoms can lead to serious illness and hospitalization, with New Yorkers who are not vaccinated or up to date with vaccinations being at increased risk of developing severe disease.  To read the NYSDOH alert on a statewide rise in COVID-19 cases, use the link below.
