There are two items of interest to dentistry on the November 2021 New York State Board of Regents meeting agenda: 1) the granting of educational waiver petitions for dental licensure to Drs. Tamer Marzouk and Davide Romeo; and 2) the legislative and State Budget priorities of the Regents for 2022-2023, which include $7.79 million in capital spending authority for Office of the Professions modernization, $7.125 million in increased Office of the Professions appropriation authority, and enhanced disciplinary authority over the licensed professions.
