CDC Issues Report on Recommendations for COVID-19 Vaccinations for Children Aged 5-11

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued, as part of its latest Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), a report on the recommendations for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations for children aged 5-11.  CDC notes that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has high efficacy (>90%) against COVID-19 in children aged 5–11 years and that its benefits outweigh risks for vaccination.  To read the CDC MMWR report on the recommendations for COVID-19 vaccinations for children aged 5-11, use the link below.
