GAO Highlights Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) is highlighting racial and ethnic health disparities before and during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  GAO notes that while the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated racial and ethnic health disparities -- discrimination, economic instability, lack of health care access, implicit biases and misperceptions, and uninsured status already contributed to racial and ethnic health disparities before the COVID-19 pandemic.  To read the GAO highlights on racial and ethnic health disparities before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, use the link below.
