NIH Issues Research Findings on Using Airway Chip to Test COVID-19 Therapeutic Drugs

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has issued research findings on using a chip (Airway Chip) that mimics lung function to test therapeutic drugs for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).  NIH notes that the research findings show that the Airway Chip has certain advantages over laboratory grown cell lines in that the chip can replicate the complex environment of a living organ, in this case the lungs.  To read the NIH announcement and summary of its research findings on using the Airway Chip to test therapeutic drugs for COVID-19, use the link below.
