Business Sense
The Office of Disability Employment Policy released its monthly Business Sense article on "Questions About COVID-19, Vaccinations and the ADA? Ask JAN." It highlights COVID-19 resources from the Job Accommodation Network, including frequently asked questions on COVID-19 vaccinations and the Americans with Disabilities Act, a tip sheet on accommodation strategies for returning to work during the pandemic and more.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day
In observance of Global Accessibility Awareness Day on May 20, Corinne Weible and Bill Curtis-Davidson, co-directors of the Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology, posted a blog on "Global Accessibility Awareness Day: Building an Inclusive Future of Work." The blog features PEAT's work to ensure that emerging technologies are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. It also highlights a PEAT video series of discussions with leaders in the technology field on "The Future of Work for People with Disabilities."
XR Access Symposium
The 2021 XR Access Symposium on June 10 will feature a keynote address by Chike Aguh, Chief Innovation Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor. XR Access is a community that connects leaders in the field of XR to build knowledge, tools, user experiences and practices that make XR inclusive of all, regardless of abilities. The event will include plenary panels on building accessible technologies, creating an inclusive XR ecosystem, ensuring diverse talent pipelines and more. Event supporters include the Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology, Verizon Media and Cornell Tech.
