NYEC Issues New York HIT Update

The New York eHealth Collaborative (NYEC) has issued its latest update on health information technology (HIT) issues in New York.  In this update, NYEC highlights its comments on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed Year 2021 Rule, a new application for local health departments to view de-identified clinical data from a health information exchange (HIE) for population health-level use, and a new health care provider Web portal that puts actionable patient information front and center with a patient snapshot tool (as well as other HIT items).  To read the NYEC update on HIT issues in New York, use the link below.
