FDA Highlights National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is highlighting National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and all the FDA initiatives in the area of cybersecurity.  FDA notes that while the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has presented many challenges, it has already learned much through response efforts, including addressing medical/dental device issues related to physical and cybersecurity supply chains, telehealth, and the shift to remote workforces, among other issues.  FDA further notes that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility and encourages everyone to consider the importance of cybersecurity and remain aware throughout the year when it comes to the technology we rely on every day—including the security of medical/dental devices.  To read the FDA highlights on National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and its cybersecurity initiatives, use the link below.
