Dr. Brian Laurence, a dentist/epidemiologist at Howard University College of Dentistry, in conjunction with the Medstar Health Institute, developed a short survey that examines the short-term effects of COVID-19 on dental practices in the United States. A goal of the study is to survey as many dentists as possible.
Help Advance Research into the Effects of COVID-19 on Dental Practices in the U.S.
We are doing a research study that examines the short-term effects of COVID-19 on dental practices in the United States. This initial survey is the first step in a more comprehensive project that will help dentists more effectively respond to the short- and long-term effects of COVID-19 on dentistry. If you choose to participate, you will complete an online survey. It will take about 10 minutes to complete.
You can skip questions that you do not want to answer. We will keep your answers confidential and will not share your personal information with anyone outside the research team.
If you want to participate, please click the link to start the survey:
If you have any questions or concerns about this study, please contact Dr. Nawar Shara at or Dr. Brian Laurence. If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a participant, you can reach the Medstar Institutional Review Board at MHRI-ORIHelpDesk@Medstar.net
