SYNOPSIS
Post-doctoral orthodontic education is where a great deal of orthodontic research is derived. Residents in every program in North America are required by CODA to conduct an independent research project, and many of these projects are eventually reported in the current literature. The New York City Orthodontic Programs (NYCOP) Research Symposium provides a forum for all of the graduating residents in New York City based orthodontic residency programs to present concise synopses of their research endeavors.
GOALS
Aside from the CE credit being offered, this is a wonderful opportunity to interact with today’s best and brightest residents and welcome them as colleagues, while availing yourselves of what is happening in contemporary orthodontic clinical, diagnostic, basic science, and epidemiological research.
PRESENTERS
Graduating Residents and Fellows from the following institutions will participate in this year’s research symposium: NYU Langone Hospital, Maimonides Medical Center, Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, St. Barnabas Hospital, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and Jacobi Medical Center.
