He received his DDS from the School of Dental Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook and completed a general practice residency at University Hospital Medical Center at Ston y Brook. He then completed his endodontic training at Temple University\, concurrently earning a Master of Science in oral biology with a focus on p ain management. He has served as a Volunteer Attending Lecturer in the Dep artment of Dentistry at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Icahn Schoo l of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Since 2003\, he has been Faculty and Program Director of the New York City Study Group\, a New York State accredited c ontinuing education curriculum in endodontics for general dentists\, where he teaches courses on endodontic diagnosis\, rotary instrumentation\, cra cked teeth\, retreatment\, and regenerative endodontics.
