Laser Use In Fixed Prosthetic and Implant DentistryDentists have a variet
y of wavelengths to choose from when deciding which laser is most appropri
ate for his or her practice. Some wavelengths are perfectly suited for pe
riodontal therapy\, while other wavelengths may be more appropriate for a
prosthetics-driven practice. Upon completion of this course\, participant
s will be familiar with the use of lasers for specific procedures found in
a prosthetics-driven practice. They will be able to incorporate this kno
wledge into a basis for determining which laser wavelength is most appropr
iate for their practice\, and be able to incorporate hard and soft tissue
laser dentistry into their practices first thing tomorrow morning. The use
of lasers for specific procedures found in everyday fixed and implant pro
sthetic cases will be highlighted. Specific procedures to be discussed inc
lude:Soft and hard tissue crown lengtheningCordless gingival troughingCosm
