 ractitioners in creating and maintaining a successful implant program with
 in their general dental practice. A discussion of the choices between conv
 entional dentistry and implant dentistry to replace missing teeth will be 
 explored. Particular attention will be given to learning how to build trea
 tment plans based on patient evaluation\, bone quality\, prosthetic and ma
 terial options and economics. This course will cover esthetic consideratio
 ns in the anterior zone with single-tooth and multiple implant restoration
 s. Additionally\, options for short span fixed prostheses and removable pr
 ostheses will be discussed. Both cement and screw retained options will be
  discussed. During this program practitioners will understand:Which cases 
 are better suited for conventional or implant dentistryThe sequence for tr
 eatment planning and delivering predictable implant resultsHow to maximize

 rger taught at University of the Pacific for 30 years and ran Pacific’s pr
 estigious complex and esthetic rehabilitation program. He is also a resear
 cher and a published author in the areas of dental materials\, contemporar
 y fixed prosthodontics\, and esthetic dentistry. He serves as a consultant
  for many dental materials companies and helps guide product development.D
 uring his 30 years in academia\, he has maintained a private practice gear
 ed toward restorative dentistry with his brother and fellow Pacific alum D
 r. Jeffrey Geissberger. He believes his continual involvement in providing
  patient care as well as a role in academia has given him a unique balance
  that allows him to blend the best of both worlds. Dr. Geissberger earned 
 a master’s degree in educational psychology in 1994 and has been a Certifi
 ed Personal Trainer (CPT) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine sin
 ce 2008. He completed his Fitness Nutrition Specialty (FNS) training in 20
