Legislative Alerts
The Governor has signed legislation changing mandatory continuing education requirements for dentists practicing in New York State. The new requirements are:
- Completion of 60 hours of continuing education each re-licensing period
- Maintenance of CPR certification
- One time completion of a course in ethics/jurisprudence
The NYCDS will inform members about implementation when details become available. The Henry Spenadel Continuing Education Program has increased the number of CPR courses it will offer.
