Ever changing advances in endodontic techniques and technologies now afford the general dentist greater treatment options and confidence. These new techniques and protocols are presented nd explored in a multimedia format, benefiting the novice and experienced user alike. This presentation will update the latest rotary instrumentation and thermoplastic obturation schemes, highlighting irrigation protocols and hybrid instrumentation.

You will learn:
• the differences in file designs and the advantages/disadvantages of each type;
• the technique for employing carrier-based obturation successfully;
• techniques for canal location and negotiation;
• management and treatment of iatrogenic occurrences such as missed canals;
• perforations and separated instruments;
• the use of mineral trioxide aggregate in immature pulp therapies;
• the proper techniques for rotary instrumentation and carrier-based obturation;
• how to create a post space in the appropriate canal;
• how to properly use a surgical operating microscope; and
• the use of ultrasonics in refining acceses and locating calcified canals.

Participants should bring several extracted, accessed teeth.

RESULTS: Participants will learn current endodontic concepts and techniques and be able to better treat their patients.
